If you would like to place an order for any of my art hoops or other items, please send me a personal message with full details of what you would like so that I can give you an accurate quote, both for price (plus postage, which is always fair) and estimated production time. For orders such as a house portrait, I will require photographs via email or post.

The sewing bit:
I bought my first sewing machine in January 2013 and armed with the advice from the awe-inspiring textile artist Lucy Levenson and some books by Poppy Treffry, I started experimenting with free motion embroidery. The 'me' bit:
I grew up aspiring to be 'an artist', but sadly that wasn't to be. Instead I studied a degree (which I loved!) in the History of Art and English Literature and ended up qualifying as a secondary English teacher. Bizarrely, it was ill health in 2010 that led me back to my love of creating. The 'M.E.' bit:
Exploring my creativity has a been a lifeline for me, particularly since having M.E. I spend many long hours at home as both my mobility and energy is limited. I have to pace myself very carefully to avoid relapse; while I am not always well enough to sew, I love researching textile art and searching for inspiration to create new designs. We are working with Cargodale to deliver groceries to your door.

How do I order?

1. Book a slot by SUNDAY
2. Send in order by TUESDAY
3. Pay invoice BY WEDNESDAY
4. Receive goods by THURSDAY

Key points:

• flat rate of £3.50 for deliveries
• radius of 3-4 miles from Sowerby bridge with some flexibility
• message via WhatsApp or text on 07895033559
• you can order anything from the shop within reason, but we also have organic veg boxes: sm £10, med £15, large £22.50
• fresh bakery available
• if you want to drop off vessels for refilling earlier, this is an option
• potential for further collections from other local businesses
• you don't have to be in for delivery if able to supply a safe place but let us know so we can pack accordingly etc
• rolling orders or every week (until you say stop) available q
