Do you remember Blue Rose and the captivating story of hope? I’ve added a link in my stories to the original tale, whereby she would hopefully return to Ukraine after the war. Sadly, with the war still raging, that did not happen… but with the upmost bravery, Olga and her daughter are returning to Ukraine (after fleeing to Romania as a refugee) to try set up a new life for themselves.
With permission from I can share the story of friendship, hope, strength and reliance - as Blue Rose will make her journey to the Ukraine to be united with Olga and her daughter 💙

It’s been more than 3 years since Blue Rose came to me. Sadly the war in Ukraine is still going on, but my friend has decided to go back to her homeland. And I sent out Blue Rose to her final destination Ukraine this morning.
In August 2022, my friend Olga evacuated from Kherson which was still under russian occupation together with her sister and daughter. They fled to Romania and lived there for the past 3 years. Now Olga and her daughter have moved back to Ukraine, not to Kherson where constant shelling still doesn’t stop, but to a city in Western Ukraine. Her life in Romania wasn’t easy but she managed to survive and live a life there. Now she’s starting from scratch again to build a better life, especially for her daughter.
We kept chatting everyday throughout the 3 years, through the occupation, evacuation, and refugee life, we feel like we’re real family 😌
