ā€œArtvolutionā€ The evolution of an artist, will be an interactive show.

Each artist will be prompted to write a story about the piece they painted and who they were as an artist then and now.

Visitors will be able to interact with artists by leaving notes about differences they see in the artist work from past to present.

If you are interested in applying, please submit two pieces: an older piece and a new piece (at least one of them needs to be available to purchase)

Donā€™t have an older piece? Thatā€™s ok šŸ‘šŸ½ you may bring a print of an older piece or make a compilation of photos of older works. Itā€™s up to you! Be creative!

Hi, Iā€™m Ruth and I own The North Approach Gallery. Iā€™m also an artist as well. I believe that art is a beautiful way to express yourself, give insight into who you are, what you believe or what you are thinking. Iā€™ve always wanted my art journey to be a part of my local community, finding ways to support local businesses and charities has always been very important to me. I believe in giving back to the community and incorporating the arts into everything I do because itā€™s so much of who I am.

Myself, along with three other talented artists Christopher Hall .evils.lambchop James lee have donated some pieces of artwork in hopes to raise awareness and funds for BDC MIND. Each piece is priced at Ā£30 per piece so that it can be affordable to many. You are not only buying a piece of art; all the money will go towards supporting this amazing charity that cares so much about the mental health of our community.

You can purchase the art in person at The North Approach Gallery, Dean Clough, E Mill Suite E128, Halifax HX3 5AX

We will be meeting once a month on a Thurs from 11am-1pm. All supplies are included! All you need is a notebook to start your collage journey!
