Gorgeous home grown local flowers from Golcar Lily Flowers in exchange for 3 sacks of mucky fleece from my sheep that will protect his dahlias over Winter.
I love a fair exchange and it’s especially fitting as October is actually Month, an initiative from British Wool and an annual campaign dedicated to raising awareness of wool and the many uses for it.
The campaign celebrates the entire journey of wool, from British farms to finished products, helping more people understand the environmental, practical and economic benefits of supporting British wool…….
We can only hope that wool finds its place and is valued like it used to be and that farmers get a better price for it!
