The age old question, how much do wedding flowers cost…
Well depending on who you ask, the answer will be wildly different and that’s ok! Every business has different outgoings including overheads, staffing, utilities and more, on top of all the actual stuff the wedding takes.
So what does £2500 get you in wedding flowers?
That may sound like a scary amount to some people, but to others maybe not enough. £2500 is a good budget for your florals, but what it actually gets you will be completely different depending on lots of things. So the basic answer is, it all depends on what you want and that is why every quote is totally bespoke to you and your wedding!
If someone were to ask me what the best way to utilise a £2500 floral budget would be, I would recommend these items:
1x Bridal Bouquet
4x Bridesmaids
6x Buttonholes
1x Welcome Sign Arrangement
2x Large Plinth Displays
8x Low Bowl Centrepieces
Delivery, Set Up and Collection (Local)
But if you have more bridesmaids or more centrepieces, obviously that price is going to increase. I always try to suggest things that are able to be repurposed as much as possible, from ceremony to wedding breakfast to help reduce costs as well as waste!
Flower choices, sizing, style and time of year all have an impact on pricing. If you want lots of expensive focal flowers like Roses and Orchids with no foliage, that is going to be a lot pricier compared to a seasonal mix of flowers.
