I’ve completely fallen in love with the untamed, tranquil beauty of the New Forest. On our last visit, driving home, we gazed in awe at the gorse lining the roads—it looked as though the landscape was glittered with sunshine. I wanted to capture a little of that feeling on canvas.

This piece was all about experimenting with landscapes, depth, and a softer, more natural style. It pushed me in new ways, especially trying to show distance and light.

More than anything, this became a learning piece—less about perfection, more about exploring something new and growing as an artist.

Sometimes growth looks like taking a different path… even if it feels unfamiliar at first.

What do you think—should I explore more landscapes? Maybe the seaside next 🌊

Finally found a moment to pop into the lovely Westcroft Deli this morning ☕️. It makes me so happy seeing my artwork displayed in such a beautiful space — even more so knowing it’s being enjoyed. If you’re passing by, go take a peek 💜

This piece is a very personal one.
Over a year ago, my dad passed away. During the days before he died, I took his fingerprints using watercolour paint. I printed a fingerprint onto several large sheets of paper, not fully knowing what they would become — only that I wanted to keep a small piece of him with us.

For Christmas, I created this painting for my mum, building the artwork around one of those fingerprints.

The layered leaves and botanicals grew around that small mark, turning it into something living and lasting — a quiet way of holding memory, love, and connection within the work.

This painting was simply something I needed to make to help me process.

Art can hold stories in ways words sometimes can’t, and this piece will always be one of the most meaningful I’ve created. Dad's final mark.

🌸This painting feels a little extra special today.
Earlier this morning I received my first unkind comment about my art online. For a moment it stung — because sharing something you create from the heart always feels a little vulnerable.
But instead of letting it stop me, it reminded me why I started painting in the first place.
Art isn’t about being perfect or pleasing everyone. It’s about joy, expression, colour, and courage. And honestly, if creating something beautiful invites even one person to pause and smile, that’s more than enough for me.

So here’s a gentle reminder for the internet today: Kindness is free. Encouragement matters. And the world could always use more people brave enough to create.

To anyone out there sharing their work, their voice, or their dreams — keep going. Don’t let the noise quiet your colour. 💛🧡🩷❤️💜💙

Some pieces mean more than words can say 🤍
Last year I was asked to create these line drawings for a beautiful wedding, honouring someone who couldn’t be there in person but was deeply present in heart.

The first piece was placed in the seat where the bride’s mum would have sat during the ceremony — a quiet tribute to an incredible mother, wife and friend to many in attendance.
After the service, it was displayed so her memory could still be part of such a special day.

I also created a second illustration for the bride’s sister, her Maid of Honour and one of the most important people in her life. Someone who has stood beside her through everything.

Art has a powerful way of holding memories, love and connection — and it was such a privilege to create something so meaningful for their day.

Thank you for trusting me with such a special piece. 🤍✨

This was the first mural I painted and was a surprise for my daughter. Although it was sad to paint over it; remembering all those late nights painting whilst she slept in my room, I was also reminded of her little face lighting up when she saw it and feel blessed I get to paint something for her and see that little face light up all over again but this time in a home thats ours forever 🏡💕🖌
