Because glass is blown daily, visitors are treated to a warm welcome as well as a demonstration in glass blowing techniques. Private demonstrations can also be arranged. The methods employed by the team at Top Glass are traditional, retaining every original aspect used by the first glass makers hundreds of years ago with ‘small furnace’ technology. Top Glass use 30% lead crystal when creating their glass pieces; this gives a stunning clarity and a captivating radiance to the finished article. There is a wide range of products available to buy in the studio – from tactile little treasures to adorn your dressing table, to remarkable vases and bowls to show off on your mantelpiece.
