The process, the journey.....warts and all.

One thing nearly 3 years post life saving surgery I hadn't anticipated, was the freedom it has allowed me the last few months to be free, and just play, explore and find a love of a medium I'd left behind for so long.

I genuinely feel really grateful for the opportunity without pressure, to just enjoy the process, create new things, get out of my head and comfort zone, and just say 'sod it' and go for it without any real fear of the 'what if?'

What if you like it? What if you just enjoy creating it? What if you just go with it and see what happens?

So here we are. Another one on the road alongside the others.

Large ish for me, 20x16" but not scary enough to terrifying me.

Thrilled to announce I will be attending an exciting new event hosted by Wade Workshops in Upminster this coming August 22nd!

A brand new creative workshop day featuring a variety of stallholders, small and local craftspeople in the height of the summer holidays!

If I can ask something not just on my behalf, but the host of a new event, if everyone who sees this post could share it, or repost it, the impact for so many of us independents could be huge.

So many people are quick to share or repost their favourite celeb news, or buy products they are paid to advertise or promote....all I could ask is consider the far reaching impact to mums, or dad's, like me, also trying to provide for my family, our children, all around busy lives, schedules and school holidays. Just by sharing a few times, it can help kick start a stale algorithm that we are all fighting to be seen on.

It's tough out there for small businesses. Please help us by spending your hard earned pennies wisely, and shop small and local for your gift ideas. Those on the super yachts don't care what you bought from them to keep them on it. Those of us take so much time and care and love to make sure it's a purchase you treasure. 🫶

I can't wait to be there, and love to see and meet you all. Please spread the word!
