I was Sam’s apprentice for the day as I wasn’t trusted elsewhere in the house without supervision 😅 …Now that the first phase of the house reno has been stripped out, gutted and demolished, hopefully it will now start to feel like we are getting somewhere with putting it all back together!

An extremely busy and tiring bank holiday weekend for us! Demolished the utility, moved and built back the window for the downstairs loo, all window sills fit for the upstairs of the house, new bay window installed and almost finished, just need the roof of the bay sorting, and finally dug out the old pond to make more space in the garden until we decide what to do with it next year! Now time for a rest…until tomorrow night!

Front Bedroom fully stripped out and bathroom stripped out and extended ready for the new walk in shower area! Next steps for these rooms are first fix plumbing and electrics. Best get deciding on the final bathroom items so we can get them on order! Now comes the exciting part!

Thought I would share a full video of how it all started before I share the progress ones! These videos were taken the first day just before we started to strip everything out upstairs. As you can see Sam couldn’t help himself by waiting until after the video for taking the wardrobes out, and Penny already making herself at home with a bed! More videos to follow soon!

🔑 It’s been one month now since Sam and I got the keys to our first home together! It’s been a good month of ripping out and doing the not so glam parts of the Reno! Looking forward to getting started with the good bits and showing you all some exciting changes! 🏡

Love it when a returning customer messages to say they want their new house redesigning! And what a house to work on! They are wanting several rooms in the house reworking on, including a guest suite, master bedroom, living spaces and more. The design work is underway, the decorator booked, and I can’t wait to start showing you the designs in the making!

Four and a half years in my beautiful first home condensed into one and a half minutes. It’s been a blast from start to finish, and I have had so much fun putting my designs into it. Thank you to each and every one of you that has helped me along the way to make my dreams come true. It’s been an emotional goodbye, and many memories made. However, some new and very exciting things on the horizon for me and Sam for our first home together 🫶🏼

Well that’s a full wrap! Christmas and 2025 is completely over. What a wonderful Christmas it’s been! New exciting things to come in 2026! My beautiful first home is on the market, and I’m now looking forward to the next project and chapter with my other half. Here’s to us 🥂🫶🏼

Christmas so far this year. The tree is picked and decorated, the house decs are up, and it’s all starting to feel nice and cosy! Presents to wrap next, and loving this years wrapping theme!
