Before during and after!

🛋️✨ FROM ANTIQUE FINDS TO BEAUTIFUL NEW PIECES! ✨

Our lovely client purchased these gorgeous pieces from a local antique dealer and entrusted us with giving them a new lease of life!

We’ve completely reupholstered them using beautiful Clarke & Clarke Alva velvet, with a fabulous contrasting pink piping on the armchair for that extra pop of colour! 💚🩷

A wonderful example of how traditional furniture can be transformed with a bold choice of fabric whilst retaining all its original character and charm.

🎄 IMPORTANT CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR UPDATE! 🎄

A little update from all of us at Reeves Upholstery House!

🛋️ CHRISTMAS BOOKINGS ARE NOW CLOSED!

Our workshop is working flat out to complete all existing orders before Christmas, so unfortunately we cannot accept any further work for completion this year.

We are also no longer accepting orders for replacement cushion inners before Christmas. With suppliers currently on a five-week lead time, we simply don’t want to risk leaving anyone without their cushions over the festive period!

📅 NOW BOOKING JANUARY & FEBRUARY!

If you’re thinking of having furniture reupholstered in January or February, please get in touch NOW to secure your place!

Please don’t wait until January to enquire, as by then we could already be booking into March or April!

🚪 PLEASE RING AHEAD BEFORE VISITING!

We’re incredibly busy, and with only one person running the studio, we’re often in and out throughout the day.

Appointments are strongly recommended, as we’d hate anyone to make a wasted journey or be disappointed if we’re unable to see them.

😂 BOSS ON QUALITY CONTROL! 😂

Another bespoke sofa finished and ready for delivery… but not before the boss gives it a VERY thorough test drive! 🛋️🤣

Our customer sent us a photograph of her existing sofa and asked if we could make her another one exactly the same.

So that’s precisely what we did! Built from the frame up, matching her original sofa as closely as possible, right down to the shape, proportions and finishing touches.

And the verdict from the boss?

“LOVE IT! I WANT ONE!” 🙄😂

So apparently we’ve now got another one to make!

At Reeves Upholstery House, we don’t just recover furniture — we make it from scratch, too!

🎬 ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER FILM SET! 🎥

Lights, camera… Chesterfields! 🎬

Just three weeks ago, we received an order for these two gorgeous Chesterfield-style sofas, upholstered in sumptuous blue velvet.

Fast forward three weeks and they’re finished, delivered on schedule and ready to take centre stage on another film set! 🎥

We do love the variety of work that comes through our workshop, and it’s always exciting when our furniture is destined for the big screen!

Now the million-dollar question… I wonder who’s going to be sitting on these beauties? 👀🤫

🚨 IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL OUR CUSTOMERS 🚨

We’ve had a bit of a technological disaster at Reeves Upholstery House!

Unfortunately, I’ve lost my entire WhatsApp history — 15 years of conversations and over HALF A MILLION messages! 😩

This includes customer photographs, enquiries, quotations, measurements and ongoing conversations. Absolutely everything has disappeared!

SO, I NEED YOUR HELP!

If you’ve recently contacted me via WhatsApp, sent photographs for a quotation, are waiting for a reply, or have an ongoing enquiry, PLEASE GET BACK IN TOUCH!

Even if we’ve already been chatting about your furniture, please resend your messages and photographs, as I now have no record of our conversations.

I would hate for anyone to think they’re being ignored, especially when I have absolutely no idea who’s waiting to hear from me!

🔨 MONDAY MORNING… AND THE PLANNING BEGINS! 🛋️

Another BIG bespoke project underway at Reeves Upholstery House!

4 bespoke furniture builds and just 2 weeks to turn them around! ⏰ Tick tock… no pressure, lads! 😂

There’s so much more to creating beautiful bespoke furniture than simply choosing a fabric.

From designing and making the frames to working out every last measurement, choosing the perfect legs, cushion fillings, seat depths, back heights and all those little finishing details that make a piece just right.

It’s all about getting the proportions, comfort and finished look absolutely spot on for our clients.

So this morning, it’s tape measures, calculators, drawings and plenty of head-scratching before a single piece of timber is cut!

35 years of experience tells me that getting the planning right is half the battle!

Now, lads… less chatting, more building! 😂
