It started as a tired chest of drawers wrapped in layers of dark green. But under the old paint, I saw the promise of something magical—a piece waiting to bring joy to a little girl’s room.
I began by stripping away its old look, replacing the heavy green with a soft, gentle shade called Rosewater. I was given this little chest of drawers by a friend . It had been in the garage and was rather muddy and full of spiders . I had great fun creating a beautiful new piece and used Tjhoko paint for the first time . I bought the paint in South Africa . Pretty colour called ‘Sweetness’ and a beautiful transfer . Gold hardware the dress it and ta-dah she’s been transformed . It’s for sale , message me for details .
