My customers had recently renovated their home and wanted window dressings that were of a high quality, practical and didn’t impact of their amazing view.

We discussed a few options and decided on these interlined Roman blinds with a lovely side detail to cover the mechanism of the headrail. The fabric works beautifully with both paint colours in their room and has the natural, calming and beautiful look they were wanting.

A very tricky window with a sloping roof and not enough room for a track!

We decided to bring the track to the lowest possible point in order for it to reach the full width of the door. To disguise the differing heights of the window and door we decided to add a pelmet which adds both symmetry and something a bit special.

A lovely interlined Roman blind with a matching pelmet.

We decided to add the pelmet as a bit of an after thought, as the Roman blind sits at the bottom of the stair case and we didn’t want the headrail to be on view as you walk down the stairs.

I had the pleasure of making some lovely blinds for my cousin in Haslingden, Lancashire.

She’d had a beautiful extension built and a lovely new kitchen and needed some softness added to her new rooms. She chose some gorgeous timeless fabrics that work beautifully in her new rooms.

My customer invited me into their home whilst they were renovating their hallway. We discussed track options and I suggest an integrated track that fits discreetly into the ceiling seeing as this was an option as they were in the early stages of renovation.

My customer loved this idea but also loved an old pair of curtains that they owned and wanted to repurpose them for this place. Unfortunately they didn’t have enough length in them, so we discussed clever ways to add length and went for a lovely contrast band of fabric along the top which works beautifully with her fabric and adds a real custom finish.

These curtains are hand stitched, interlined and on a specially designed wave track that has been fit into the ceiling.

I was invited back to a customers house whom I’d made some curtains for last year and never took any photos.

My customer originally invited me into her home whilst they were in the depths of renovations to discuss her vision of the curtains fitting behind the cornice within the ceiling. We discussed dimensions, placement of cornice, track options and the style of curtain, my customer chose a deep double pleat so that you could see just a small amount of the pleat underneath the cornice.

These curtains have been made in a and are hand stitched with a cosy interlining.

I made four Roman blinds for this kitchen/dinner. The windows in the kitchen were both very different sizes, so we took the blinds right up to the ceiling to give an illusion of symmetry which worked perfectly.

The blinds in the dinning area were butted up to each other so the pattern had to match along their join whilst also allowing for extra width due to the slanted recessed walls. I didn’t quite get it right first time so I had to adjust one by 1cm! I always enjoy jobs that are a bit tricky!

A very tricky bay window for my lovely husband (who is also my fitter) to deal with! I suggested that we brought the curtains right round into the room to avoid the curtains taking too much light from the windows.

My customer was really pleased with this finished look and how much of a difference extending the track round made to the light entering her lounge.

The curtains are lined, hand stitched and have a double pleated heading.
