About Shona.
“Shona Waldron is a local artist who works with drawing and painting.
Inspired by a longstanding interest in biological science, she explores themes of entanglement and evolution. Living beings are seen as processes rather than things and nature as an event that never ends. Through this, all matter is connected in a way that transcends human influence and challenges the imagination. She is inspired by this sense of wonder and the potential for alternate futures.”
