Well, the planned life isn't quite going according to plan. The wedding dress has been returned, the imaginary honeymoon cancelled and apparently we're giving sensible dating a go.

Jesus Christ. Whatever next? 😂💍

But fear not! While Miss Spoons' romantic adventures remain something of a national emergency, the shop is OPEN and Christmas shopping must commence! 🎄🎁

The Emporium of Beautiful Things is bursting with gorgeous gifts, quirky creations, handmade treasures and all manner of things you didn't know you desperately needed until you saw them.

So pop into St Andrews Mews, Hastings, say hello, have a browse and perhaps offer Miss Spoons some dating advice.

🚨 DISASTER HAS STRUCK! 🚨

Miss Spoons is tucked away in her workshop, merrily creating treasures and completely oblivious to the catastrophe unfolding elsewhere in Hastings…

Poor Mrs Pots is sitting at the Tides of Trade Market at Stade Hall, surrounded by her beautiful trinkets and treasures, and it appears the good folk of Hastings may have partied just a little too hard last night. 🍷💃🍺

There are sore heads.

There are empty streets.

There is a very real and present danger of…

🌵 TUMBLEWEED. 🌵

So we need everyone to collectively cast an enormous UP-AND-AT-'EM SPELL 🪄✨

WAKE UP, HASTINGS!

Drag yourselves from your pits. Find your trousers. Locate your sunglasses. Drink some water. Take whatever measures are necessary to rejoin civilisation.

The Old Town is always a fabulous place to eat, whine and wander on a Sunday, so while you're there, pop into Stade Hall and feast your slightly hungover eyes upon Mrs Pots' magnificent trove of treasures.

She has trinkets.
She has gorgeous things.
She has wares that need admiring.

And, most importantly…

SHE NEEDS PEOPLE BEFORE SHE STARTS NAMING THE TUMBLEWEED.

🎄✨ SOMETHING RATHER BIG IS BREWING… ✨🎄

Miss Spoons and Mrs Pots are gearing up for a MASSIVE new adventure 👀 and Mrs Pots’ prince, Hobnobs in hand, is currently beavering away behind the scenes helping to make it all possible.

More on THAT very soon… 😏

But first — CHRISTMAS!!! 🎅🎄

This Saturday the Mews has the first of its markets!

Miss Spoons would love to tell you it’ll be bustling with stalls overflowing with finery, treasures, trinkets, cakes and all manner of fabulous things…

…but frankly, we don’t know. 😂

So it’s a surprise for all of us.

🎅 Santa will also be arriving shortly and booking may very well already be open — because apparently Christmas waits for no spoon.

A few festive bits have already started sneaking into the shop, but if you’ve had your eye on any of our Halloween weirdness, GET IN QUICK. 🕷️🎃

Because come Saturday, Halloween is being evicted and Christmas is moving in with bells on.

✨ FRIDAY: Miss Spoons is in the house.

✨ SATURDAY: You get BOTH Miss Spoons AND Mrs Pots.

If you’ve not been down to the little pink shop stuffed with gorgeous things, today is the day!! Get something spooky, or cute, funny or outrageously odd. We can be found tucked away in St Andrews mews, opposite M&S and down the stairs, a lot of you haven’t been for years or don’t even know we are here.
