🧶Have you got lots of left over yarn, and don't know what to do with it? Join me in making this fun knit stitch scarf, using all your left over wool. Put your hand into your yarn stash without looking and cast on with whatever you pull out. This scarf will be 105cm long and about 12cm wide. Don't worry if its longer or shorter. Leave a 15cm tail and swap colour at the end of every row. Each tail will become you tassels. Ill post on Sunday, and we can all show each of our scarfs. Just a bit of fun! :) It's exciting to see how the scarf will turn out. :)

Join Therese at Quay Street Yarns for three friendly, relaxed Thursday evenings, where she’ll help you tackle the mysteries of sock knitting, one stitch at a time!

Fancy having a go at making your own?

We’re holding a fun crochet workshop at Quay Street Yarns, where you’ll learn how to make all the little pieces and put them together to create your very own animal bookmark!

You’ll have plenty of help and guidance along the way, and all the yarn and the pattern are included.

📅 Monday 16th November
⏰ 4.30pm – 7.30pm

You’ll just need 3mm and 3.5mm crochet hooks, stitch markers and a wool needle. Bring your own or pick them up in the shop.

A lovely little project that’s sure to make you smile! 🥰

Good morning! 🙂 We hope you'll all be keeping safe today. Today, I am going to have a go at making my mum's left over yarn scarf. A simple knit scarf. Quick and easy. The best bit is you don't have to stick with a pattern. Lucky dip your hand into your yarn stash and knit with whichever colour you pull out. Keep doing it until the end. The show us your scarf 🧣🧶
