Itā€™s a broomstick day today! But what colour should I make? Purple has been popular lately, sunflowers are always popular, but what colour would make you stop and say I have to have it?

I got these little resin crow skulls recently, my plan was to put them in mini brooms, Iā€™ve done one but now I canā€™t decide wether to keep the flowers or just have the skull on its own. I like the idea of just black flowers but does it blend in to much? Iā€™m not sure!

My name is Hayley and I make wreathsā€¦but not Christmas ones šŸ™Š
We are creeping towards the time of year where most wreath makers will be thinking about Christmas. But not here! I have thought long and hard about this post, but I have to be honest with you and myself. Grab a drink this is a long one!

Iā€™ve been making wreaths for 10 years now, in that time Iā€™ve made a lot of Christmas wreaths, Iā€™ve done a lot of workshops, and Iā€™ve seen a lot of people start their own wreath businesses, Iā€™ve even offered guidance to some of them! Itā€™s becoming increasingly cheap to buy a wreath online or in high street stores, and even cheaper to buy materials from Temu or other cut price places. So this year Iā€™m not doing it! Iā€™m not going to compete, Iā€™m not going to spend a fortune on top quality materials when people can buy their own for next to nothing. Iā€™m not going to put myself through the stress. And honestly? That is fine with me! I still have plenty of Christmas stock so if you do want something bespoke and made with top quality materials Iā€™m here, I even have a few ready made in my shop, but other that? Unless itā€™s witchy or Yule inspiredā€¦Itā€™s a no from me!
