I am the founder of For the Love of Tidying, a wellbeing-focused professional organising business dedicated to helping people reclaim calm, control, and confidence in their homes. Known for my dependable, non-judgemental approach, I bring a sense of ease from the very first conversation — helping clients feel safe, supported, and genuinely “saved” as they take the first steps out of overwhelm. At

the heart of my work is a belief that clutter is rarely about laziness, and far more often about life being full, heavy, or demanding. I am on a mission to remove the shame so many people carry about their homes — replacing guilt with practical support and a renewed sense of possibility. My clients often feel stuck, embarrassed, and unsure where to begin; after working with me, they feel lighter, clearer, and proud of the progress they’ve made. My journey began with my own lived experience. Naturally organised by nature, I found that motherhood shifted everything, and the systems that once felt effortless started to slip into overflowing drawers and daily frustration. In summer 2021, reading The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying sparked a dramatic change — not just in my space, but in my wellbeing. For the first time in a long time, I felt free, energised, and able to make choices that reflected how I wanted to feel. That personal transformation became the spark for the work I now bring to others. Before building For the Love of Tidying full-time, I balanced the early years of my business with a teaching career. After Covid, the stress of teaching intensified and I ultimately left the profession to focus on decluttering and organising — one of the best decisions I have ever made. My experience of stress and anxiety deepened my understanding of how deeply our environments affect our mental wellbeing, and it’s why my work is centred not on perfection, but on peace, function, and emotional safety. What makes me different from other organisers, is that I don’t just transform homes — I transform people. Now four years into business, I have supported nearly 300 in-home clients, grown a Facebook community of over 4,000, built a team of four declutterers, and have run my membership Cluttered to Calm for over two years. I was named Professional Organiser of the Year 2024, have spoken at major London events including the Ideal Home Show and the Clean & Tidy Show, and have been featured across national and local media — including a decluttering segment on BBC Radio 4’s You & Yours and a soon to be shown appearance on TV (more to come later), alongside interviews with multiple local radio stations and newspapers. Across my in-home sessions, online Power Hours, membership, challenges, ebook, and speaking, my mission remains the same: to guide people calmly and compassionately back to control — so they can live with confidence, invite others in without shame, and enjoy life again.

World Wellbeing Week starts tomorrow 🌿

And I want to talk about something that doesn't always make the wellbeing conversation - your home.

Your space is not separate from your wellbeing. It's part of it.

A cluttered environment puts your nervous system on low-level alert. It drains mental energy. It makes even simple decisions feel harder.

This week I'll be sharing some small, calming ideas. Not big transformations - just little ideas to help you along.

Because a home that feels calm?
...It changes everything 💚

This weekend is the summer solstice ☀️ — the longest, lightest day of the year.

There's something about key dates in the year that makes us want to take stock.

So here's a question:

Is there something in your home — or in your head — that you've been holding onto that no longer belongs in this next season of your life?

It doesn't have to be dramatic. A drawer. A bag of stuff by the door. A habit of keeping things "just in case."

Sometimes letting go of one small thing makes more room than you'd imagine.

What would you like to leave behind this summer? 🌿

Jardine Estates and I had a lovely chat the other day discussing how we can help people considering a move and also throughout the moving process.

Thanks Natalie for inviting me in 💚

One of my favourite declutter challenges of this year has been the timer challenge....
just 10 minutes a day.
That's all.

When everything feels too much, I always come back to this:

✦ Set a timer for 10 minutes
✦ Pick ONE surface or ONE area only
✦ Don't just move things - make a decision
✦ When the timer goes off, stop

That's it. No before-and-after pressure...

The point isn't to get it done.

The point is to feel a little less stuck.

I meet many people living in cluttered homes that tell me they have been stuck for a while, it's the starting thats hard, the finding of the time, the prioritising of the decluttering over anything else.... especially when the sun is shining!

Just remember.... one small step done, and feeling proud to have started, is worth more than a big declutter done in a panic.

This starts the momentum to carry on again another day 🤩

How would it feel to be able to walk in to your home and....breathe?

😅No piles to sort, no hallway blockages to push past and climb over....no guilt over that room you keep the door closed on.

Being able to open the door wide to anyone who visits and not to feel any shame or have to hide things quickly...and feel calm 💚

✨It is possbile, you know.
✨You don't need to feel this stuck forever.
✨It can be very different.

Take small steps, at your pace, stopping when you feel a win....not when you are fed up with it.
There will be progress, it may be slow, but it will happen.

Or, if you work better with someone alongside you, we are here to help...

No judgment, just guidance, support and maybe just the motivation you need.

Seeing this post maybe your sign to get in touch, you don't have to book, I can just let you know how a session works.

The sun is 'finally' shining 🌤️ the days are long and the world feels like a brighter place....

But, how does it feel inside your home?

It can be an interesting time of year of mixed feelings.... 🫣

We can often feel a natural push and an increase in motivation when the days are long and the sun is out...

But that can also coincide with a feeling of not succeeding in our homes and seeing like there is just SO much to do it all feels too overwhelming.

It's also when life gets busier, we have places to be, friends and family to see and a lot more in our calendars than in the winter months.

Your home and your nervous system are in constant conversation with each other.... when your home feels busy so can your mind.

Clearing just one area today, can make you feel so much better, clearer and lighter...

Is there a small space which is frustrating you, an area which no longer works.... or a pile which you are sick of seeing?

⏰I challenge you to spend 20 minutes between now and before you go to bed tonight to see what you can do.... take a photo before so you can see your progress.

Let me know how you get on ....a small space can make a big impact!😉
