SUMMER PROJECTS ☀️ and
CHRISTMAS IN JULY 🎅 🤶 ....

Here's Anna Davidson finished ✅️ bag in Sweet Orchid with a cream trim, and Tracey Kohut (almost done) bag in Sage Green 💚 - absolutely beautiful work, ladies, and lots of other gorgeous 😍 colours coming up too - Cerise, Mint Green, Dark Beige and Moss Green - keep up the fantastic work: you're putting me to shame 🫠 😀 😊

CHRISTMAS IN JULY 🎅 🤶 ... oh crikey! It really isn't long at all until we hit July and, for those of you who want to take part, there will be a Christmas-themed project to take us through the month. Christmas 🎄 is my favourite time of year and is the season I enjoy most to crochet for, so I really do look forward to our "Christmas in July" hook up, as it's a little taster of what's to come (oh, you'll love it!!) ❤️

CARDIGAN ✔️

well, I can't lie ... Cardigangate has been the crochet WIP road least travelled. It has been a whopping 15/16 months since the project was started and I still have yet to finish my own ... I have bought several items of clothing that I have thought "Ooh, that will go with that cardigan I am making!!", like, who am I trying to kid here?!?!?! BUT, here's Adele Cawley-Rawdin modelling the slowest of S L O W fashion!!
ANYHOW, ages ago I bought some yarn (Stylecraft Colour Burst in Catherine Wheel) for a cardigan for Ivy and I have only gone and started it!! I am on row 9 of the yoke and I will post a pic 📸 when I have more to show xx Happy hooking everyone x

FRIDAY CROCHET GROUP round-up ...

Dora Lawler finished her SECRET GARDEN project and doesn't it look fantastic? Dora is always putting her own creative style into projects to make them truly her own and has made some Lavender for her 💜 garden and added some painted 🎨 wooden toadstools - how adorable 💜
Meanwhile, Bronson Bew must have had her hooks on fire 🔥 making lots of earrings and a gorgeous dolly duo 😍

WE'RE STILL HERE NEXT WEEK, during the half term, as usual;
WEDNESDAY EVENING 6pm until 8pm

I am really looking forward to our Sew Lovely FRIDAY CROCHET GROUP in the morning, ladies (10am until 12 noon) I have been making lists, so that I don't forget anything - my mind has been all of a flurry just lately 😊

A great time at WEDNESDAY EVENING CROCHET GROUP at Sew Lovely tonight. Amy, Claire and Tracey were continuing with their Secret Garden project; Kirsty and Debbe are on numbers 6 and 7 of their Frida's Flowers Blanket 💐; Vanessa had a go at the Granny 👵 Stitches Card Deck and Becky was working hard at keeping her crochet in straight rows!
