Wow! I think I’ve found the perfect ring. This is a Fede ring, from the original “mani in fede” phrase meaning hands in faith and was originally given in the Middle Ages as a sign of friendship or love. This one is Georgian and dates to the beginning of the 19th century and very unusually is cast in 18 carat gold. A rare thing indeed:). DM for detail.

S Blankensee and Son Birmingham 1923 lidded pot pouri in solid silver. What a posh way to smell good! Beautifully made with a pierced lid and gilt inner with a dove finial atop a standing lady. DM for details .
