✨ Haddon Hall Mercatum, Bakewell ✨

Haddon Hall's Christmas Artisan Market absolutely blew me away last year! So this year I'll be back for two weeks! 🤩 And I am making, making, making in preparation!

I know it's early to mention such things, but tickets do sell out and the weekend tickets have almost gone, so don't hang about if you'd like to visit. The place is absolutely magical, and just look at my stall in the Grand Chamber set against the tapestries and portraits!

I'll be there for Weeks 2 & 3, the last 2 weeks of November 🎄🎄🎄 and my studio neighbour Kate Rhodes
will be there then too, yay!

❗Business accounts❗ I just saw a fellow creative business posting about how at the end of October all business accounts will be automatically opted in to train Meta AI. She was explaining that she'll have to close her account as she can't accept that. 😢 Given how much artists and creatives work is now being stolen, copied and reproduced in AI form I can totally understand this.

BUT in the comments people were saying we can opt out in the UK and EU, so I went to find out.

It was super easy and it appears I'm now opted out so I thought I'd share the steps here.
Via Instagram (I couldn't find it in Facebook) go to settings > privacy centre. It then explains the changes and that we have a right to object, which you can click, it gives you a form with your email address you don't need to put anything else, send and you get an email confirmation.

I can't find the post now so I hope she sees this or finds it herself and continues to share her beautiful illustrations ✍🏼♥️

I had such a great time teaching weaving and needle felting at Stafford Wool Gathering ... Thanks to everyone who joined me and a huge thanks to the organisers 🙌🏼🐑🤎

Here's my weaving group ... Lots of smiles as people relaxed into this wonderful craft. My last weaving workshop of the year is this Saturday 24th October at Gordon Rigg's Garden Centre, Todmorden and there's still a few places left! Come and join us!
