Less than 40 hours to wait for the gates to open at the premier car show in the North, the Rotary Vintage Weekend at Calder Holmes Park, Hebden Bridge!
With 100’s of mainly classic cars on the Saturday and 100’s of vintage vehicles on the Sunday, plus of course motorbikes, tractors, military, stalls, food court, entertainment and children’s play area each day - there is definitely only one place for all the family this weekend!
The full programme showing the different classes of vehicles to see each day plus details of the entertainment and some of our food vendors, can now be found online at https://www.hebdenbridge-vintageweekend.org.uk
The gates to the public open at 10am each day, with payment by cash or card. Adults £6, Children 5 - 15 £3, Under 5’s Free, Family Ticket £12 (2 adults and up to 3 children). Well behaved dogs welcome but MUST be kept on a lead at all times!
An added attraction in Hebden Bridge this weekend is the annual Steampunk extravaganza, with stalls and entertainment in the Town Centre plus Steampunk traders on the park! https://www.facebook.com/hebdensteampunk
Welcome Steampunk!
With a mix of younger entertainment on stage during the day on Saturday and something more suited to the older end on Sunday, we hope everyone will like the improvements we’ve made after the imposed 2 year break. This year we’ve even got a soft play area for the tots, to give stressed parents a few minutes grace!
Another feature this year is our Rotary Gazebo, which we hope many of you will visit to find out more about the work of Rotary in the Valley and maybe offer your services to help out with our plans for the return of LUTV22 in November 22.
If we have a successful weekend we’ll finally reach our fundraising target of £500,000. It may have taken us 15 years to get there, but with every penny going to charities, community projects and good causes and with three quarters of it being distributed locally, we don’t think we’ve done too badly! (Visit https://www.hebdenbridgerotary.org.uk for full details of how that money was distributed).
Hebden Bridge Vintage Weekend -the ONLY place to be this weekend!
