A visit to the at the left us so inspired ✨

Small-scale prints and stripes are having a real moment right now and it’s easy to see why. Paired with a soft pastel palette, they create a cosy, easy-to-live-with feel that brings warmth and calm to a bedroom without overwhelming the space.

Romo have embraced the playful side of design here, with fun details like the upholstered wardrobe, a tent-inspired wall pelmet, and the charming canopy framing the bed. It’s a beautiful example of how pastels, stripes and smaller prints can feel both fresh and timeless, creating a space that’s as livable as it is inviting.
And if you look closely… can you spot the green chequered lampshades? Definitely my favourite detail in the room.

This luxury new build in Hove was a joy from start to finish. With its pared-back, elegant style, we leaned into sheer fabrics for both blinds and curtains, creating softness and flow throughout the home.

In the children’s rooms, blackout roller blinds sat discreetly behind sheers — blending practicality with beauty. In the living room, we layered double voiles in natural tones, creating a dreamy, airy feel that tied in perfectly with the home’s other natural materials.

For this project, the install was my favourite part. It was smooth, seamless, and the end result was exactly as the client and I envisaged.

Using a professional Curtain maker takes the guess work out of it, I will come into your home and make suggestions bespoke to your brief & for each window, whilst taking into consideration fixing points, architecture and interior décor before making final recommendations.

In this featured restyle of a property in Lewes, the beauty and elegance of these heavy weight sheers ensure the maximum of light still comes into the room in the daytime whilst still providing a level of privacy in the evening. A new bespoke made to measure iron work bay pole was installed high to the ceiling to maximise elegance.

In the featured bedroom, blackout was the main concern due to bright street lights immediately outside. We therefore doubled up on the window dressings on this window, where we fitted a modern cellular blackout blind behind the relaxed roman dress blind, which ensured the solution was both practical and in keeping with the period character of this property. A blackout door curtain with a flop over heading was added for both practicality and style giving a fun, relaxed and cosy finish to the room.

These decisions require product knowledge and drapery expertise’s, making informed decisions can save from costly mistakes.
