I find it such a thrill to grow myself some free plants ! This year Iā€™m particularly keen to Propagate as much as I can for our community garden! This week I have done lavender, rosemary and Iā€™m trying to propagate my curry plant for the first time. Anyone else obsessed by getting free plants from cuttings?

Caffeine addicts listen upā€¦..

Donā€™t throw those coffee grounds away! My favourite delicatessen in Henley kindly gave me these for our community garden.

But before you sprinkle them all over your gardenā€¦ thereā€™s a right way to use them.

ā˜• Add them to your compost, theyā€™re a great source of organic matter
ā˜•ļøMix well into your compost rather than using thick layers directly on the soil
ā˜•ļøThey can help improve your compost pile and make use of something youā€™d otherwise throw away
