A little progress update......

We've been in our new home almost 3 weeks and we've been sooooooo busy I still haven't got my sewing room completely unpacked 🙈😬. I have made a start, all my fabric is put away and I now need some shelves putting up for the copious amount of bits and bobs that I've got. Still not had my extra sockets in but I can use an extension lead for now. I only found the cables for my machines today too🤣
I'm very much missing sewing, hopefully only another week and I'll be back creating again!

Hello, I've finally moved house! It took a little longer than expected but we're in!
A little progress info for you...
First picture is my old, empty sewing room, the others are my new, bigger, brighter one! I've managed to have a bit of a sort out and I can now move in there 🙈🤦🏼 who knew I had so much stuff 😬😇
My machines are coming out of storage on Monday 😍 but I think I'll be another couple of weeks before I'm back up and running (need some extra sockets putting in before I can unpack properly)

Hello, just a quick little post and update. My house move has been delayed by a week or so but I'm still stitching..
Been working on some cute little cross stitch and I'd like to give the pink one in the photo away. It will be in a little frame, I've had to order some because the ones I've got are packed up somewhere!
Anyway, October is breast cancer awareness month which is why I'd like to gift this to someone.
So, just nominate someone who you know who has fought or is fighting this awful disease and I'll pick someone at random. You don't have to tag them or share ( but it'd be nice if you did 😉).
I'll keep this open for a few days and aim to get it to the chosen recipient before moving!

I've some stunning bears to share soon too... 🐻

Sewing room all packed up and ready for the move. Crikey, I knew I had a lot of stuff but there was a lot more than I thought! 🙈 Good job my room in the new house is bigger 😂😉

Good evening everybody!

As you know, I'm in the process of moving house (very excited, I'm getting a bigger sewing room!) and it's looking like my husband and I will be moving early October.

As such, I'm going to have to start packing up my sewing stuff (there's a lot) and all my machines are going to stay at a friend's house for safe keeping. As my friend is going on holiday just before our move, my machines will be going NEXT SUNDAY. This unfortunately means no sewing will be done apart from the odd bit of hand sewing/cross stitch.

So obviously, that means I won't be able to take any orders for the foreseeable.... I don't know how long it will be before my shiny brand new sewing room is ready but I will keep you updated, I'm hoping about a month.

If you need anything, it needs to be this week!

I recently asked another local maker Nix - Handmade with Love if she could make me a special card as I was struggling to find just the right thing. Well, she came up trumps for me!
The finished card inspired me to make a matching cross stitch granny square coaster.
Fab little pattern, nice and quick to stitch and using different colours make them unique!

I've been dying to share this recent order! It's been collected and I have permission to show you...
This is a lovely combination of old and new. The mini bear is made from one, favourite top of a much missed dad 💙 and is going all the way to the USA!
Also, a gorgeous playmat, dinosaur themed and including pieces from items of clothing from two great grandads. A gift for a first grandchild, they'll be wrapped up in love 🤗
