Back in 2018, we insulated the inside of Louise’s conservatory. Eight years later, she’s come back to us for the full transformation 🙌

Walls coming down, new frames, bifold doors and a new flat roof, the full shebang!

And Louise isn’t the first. We’re seeing customers return years after their original work, ready to take their conservatory to the next level.

A little break from conservatories today! ⚽🎃

We walked across the Humber Bridge and back with my son’s football team and their families for a charity fundraiser. A brilliant effort from all the kids, with some great costumes along the way!

🏠 A BRAND-NEW BAY WINDOW TAKING SHAPE

A lovely change to the front of this property—replacing the original flat window with a newly constructed bay.

We’ve built the base and structure, fitted the new white uPVC frames and added a tiled roof with traditional decorative glass details to complement the character of the home.

The adjoining porch isn’t complete yet, so there’s still more to come, but the new bay has already completely changed the appearance of the property.

At AKN, we don’t only transform conservatories. We also undertake windows, doors, and alterations, managing the complete job from start to finish.

🔨 WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO JOIN AKN

We’re a family-run business based in Hull, specialising in conservatory transformations, warm roofs, windows and doors across East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.

With a busy installation diary and plans to keep growing, we’re looking for a reliable, hands-on person to work alongside us.

Ideally, you’ll have:

✅ Experience in window fitting, roofing, joinery or a similar trade
✅ A full driving licence — your own van would be a bonus
✅ Pride in your work and respect for customers’ homes
✅ A willingness to learn and get stuck in

You don’t need to know every part of our roof systems already. Relevant practical experience, reliability and the right attitude matter to us.

We’re looking to build a lasting working relationship, with regular work and the opportunity to grow with the business. We’d start with a paid trial to make sure it suits both sides.

Pay dependent on experience and what you can bring to the team.
