Ochiltree Bespoke joinery was formed by Neil Blakeburn in 2012 and with over 20 years experience in joinery and joinery manufacturing gaining valuable experience in scotland for 5 years manufacturing all kinds of joinery products from bifold doors to box sash windows to conservatories.Focusing on all types of joinery work and including wooden windows, doors, and any bespoke joinery requirements

Front Door Friday is back !

Accoya Wood front door with sidelights manufactured then installed this month in Stocksfield.

Replacing a tired out dated entrance. Spray finished with an oak stain and modern high security locking system. 🔨🔨

This door and frame was manufactured in our workshop in Acomb and installed a couple weeks back replacing a tired and draughty door. The design changed slightly to allow more light in and add some lovely leads and films to the glass. High security heritage door lock included which gives the look of a traditional Yale lock but with a modern locking mechanism. All made using Accoya Wood and Coastal Group hardware with Elmbridge UKsupplied paints. We are now taking bookings for the end of this year so please get in touch if you are looking for wooden windows and doors that are built to last 🔨🔨

This week we completed a full house of windows and doors in Sunderland. The customer was keen to keep the windows and doors looking as original as possible. We took the time to take rubbings of the leads and had our trusty glaziers manufacture some lovely replacement double glazed units . Using Accoya Wood and Coastal Group . Elmbridge UK supplied paints and stains. The customer was over the moon with the results and we are delighted to hear that 😊🔨🔨

A few weeks back we installed a new shop front in Corbridge for MY OH MY . Manufactured using Accoya Wood in our Acomb workshop. Using Coastal Group hardware and Elmbridge UK supplied paint. 50 year guarantee on Accoya against rotting. The before and after pictures to show the transformation 🔨🔨 we added a mid rail to the door so that it ran through with the window transom. Just the little details that makes the difference. Just needs the new signage to complete the new look.

We started off the year where we left off ! Really busy . Nice Front Door manufactured and fitted last week in Hexham . Stain finish using Elmbridge UK coatings supplied by David Hutchison . Coastal Group supplied hardware. Heritage lock giving that old Skool look 🔨🔨Accoya Wood supplied material. We do have work booked in til July now and like to be realistic and honest with our timescales 😊

One of the last jobs of the year was fitted this week . 3 arched frames and 7 casement windows 🔨🔨 . All made in Accoya Wood with Coastal Group ironmongery fitted . Matching the neighbours that we had done previously.

Last week we fitted 2 arched door sets for a house in Corbridge which were manufactured in our workshop in Acomb. Accoya Wood which has a 50 year guarantee against rotting. We don’t see the point of using anything else for external wooden windows and doors . Handmade and bespoke arches formed to suit the openings . We are delighted again with the results 🔨🔨

We recently stepped out of our comfort zone and manufactured this stunning Accoya Wood porch. This was after manufacturing the front door a few months back. Fully finished in light oak , we suggested to use Accoya over green oak as oak warps , splits and needs constant maintenance. With Accoya there’s a 50 year guarantee on the timber. We are pretty pleased with the results and so is the customer 🔨🔨

We have been quiet lately on social media but in the background we are extremely busy 🔨🔨

One of our latest jobs manufactured and installed for National Trust who we have done lots of work for over the years for a property getting ready for rental.
