It's been an eventful few days, Pete collapsed on the stairs in Grace, while I was doing a Christmas order. He started the rather lovely sickness bug & I thought I had escaped unscathed, until Saturday night.
We'll be back open tomorrow, less sweaty & vomity, half a stone lighter. ❤️

Since opening, Hexham has supported us & its our turn to support Hexham ❤️

Hexham’s community spirit is showing up again. Grace & Purpose Hexham have launched their new Shop Small, Shop Hexham tote bags, and are donating all profits to support the food bank.

A simple purchase that supports local makers, your high street, and neighbours who need a bit of extra help this winter.

We’ve been genuinely blown away by the support from local businesses this year, each one stepping up in their own way and showing what community spirit really looks like.

We are very much book people in our house & here are 3 of my festive favourites, the Christmas chronicles, which I pull out each year & read snippets, it's a very easy dip in & out book.
The picky bits sommelier, is an absolute fab gift for someone who has everything, just find there tipple & match the snacks accordingly & gift with the book. I've given the crisp sommelier book (you can see its spine in the pic) to so many people.
The 2026 Almanac, I love these books, it's a love letter to the coming year. Something, to make you stop, look & think about the smaller joys.
