Hand-dyed yarns with gaming inspirations

It’s Christmas time!! Grab your slippers and a cup of hot chocolate ready for a cozy cast-on!

Choose between a curated sock box or hat box (or both if you’re feeling especially festive!) - each one has a unique hand-dyed skein of yarn based on the associated images (sock - winter snow scene, hat - tree decoration scene) and a pattern to knit along to. Plus lots of fun extras to keep the holiday joy rolling!

Whilst the inspiration images contain Pokemon, none of the contents will be Pokemon-themed - they’re purely for colour guidance!

Each box includes:

1 x skein of hand dyed yarn

1 x pattern

Xmas stitch markers

Xmas needle toppers

Sweet Treats

Keepsake box

Optional extras include:

- Additional skein

Available bases:

BFL sock (75% Superwash BFL)

Merino DK (100% Superwash merino)

Preorders are open until 15th November and scheduled to ship in the last week of November 2026

Christmas time!🎄🎄🎄

Here’s a little sneak peek of the colour inspirations for the 2 Christmas boxes going live his Saturday!

The winter scene will be a sock box and the tree scene will be a hat box 😊

More details will be coming this Saturday but each box will contain:

• 1 skein (4 ply for socks and DK for hats)
• 1 pattern (sock or hat - both knit patterns)
• Wax melts from the gorgeous Joanna Faithfull
• Xmas stitch marker set
• Xmas needle stoppers
• Xmas sweet treats

All presented in a lovely keepsake box - everything you’ll need for a cosy holiday cast on 🤩

Whilst the inspiration pictures have Pokemon in them, none of the contents will be specifically Pokemon stuff - it’s just some pretty colours on some gorgeous yarn with lots of extras…what’s not to love?!

Amongst the chaos of moving house and trying to find everything that we packed (the coasters still cannot be found!), I totally forgot to post the October club yarns for your visual pleasure!!!

Here they are in all their glory, and I’m honestly quite chuffed with how they came out - decent colour matching if I do say so myself!!

Re-live your misguided rebellious youth with a brand new yarn club for 2026!

November is upon us and means we have ourselves a new album to dye! This month I present to you Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park - a defining album in the band’s career bringing fresh rap-metal mixed with perfect melodies. With such hits as ‘One Step Closer’, ‘Crawling’, ‘Papercut’ and ‘In The End’, Hybrid Theory has definitely been on my repeat playlist for over 20 years and will remain there indefinitely!

We’re going for all the greys with sprinkling of red to recreate this iconic album.

Preorders are open from 14th-31st October and scheduled to ship in the 2nd week of November 2026

EAYF 2027!

I am delighted to reveal that I will be vending at East Anglian Yarn Festival 2027 East Anglia Yarn Festival 🎉

This will be my second time at the show and I had such a fab experience this year that I absolutely had to apply again for next year.

Have you been before? And if not, WHY??? 🤣🤣🤣

Looking forward to bringing all my yarny goodness to Norfolk again in 5 months time!

Yarndale completed!

Thank you to everyone who came by to squish some yarn and make some greatly appreciated purchases - you make this possible so thank you from the bottom of my heart!

It was so lovely seeing all the makes using SEF yarn. We don’t often see gorgeous things being created with our colours so it’s such a treat when you bring them along for me to fangirl over 😊
