Replacement of cane seat and sunbursts back , it’s been a labour of love 🤩 ☀️

The last couple of weeks have been incredibly busy! We recently took part in Bucks Art Weeks alongside several other artisans in the adjacent barn.People really enjoyed watching the process of caning our sunburst-back chair, which is now fully completed. It was also wonderful seeing Richard chat with visitors about the other projects we are currently working on. We extracted and sold plenty of our honey and furniture wax, along with various other crafts we made for the event.It was a massive success despite the rain, and we are already looking forward to next year!

Mahogany Antique secretaire . This piece came to us with a badly broken foot , missing veneer , damaged to the top , warn drawer runners and a bleached finish( as shown in the first 5 photos ), following photos show it after restoration .
