my interest in woodworking started when I was looking for a special gift to give to my wife on her first mothers day...but I just couldn't find it. Around this time as this I watched a huge skip filled with beautiful weathered Oak, Pine, posts, rails, pallets, scaffold boards and other timber be removed from a business destined for landfill or incineration. With no previous experience, only a saw,
hand drill and a screwdriver I set to wok. Things have change a lot since then, I posted the image on my page (she loved it by the way) and things took off. I made more things for friends and family, created the Re-made page to share them on. Bought LOTS of tools and found I loved doing it. Now I am creating all sorts of things I couldn't have imagined I would and they are finding homes all over the country. I decided to make this new found love into a small business in December 2017. We attended some craft fairs and have sold quite a lot, I think the important thing is to poor the love you have into the work you do, that way what you create reflects this. If we can save beautiful timber for needlessly being destroyed, than that's just perfect. Looking forward, I want to grow what I do, who knows, maybe even have a store one day!
