To be a Flipper, (otherwise known as buying and selling on), you have to make choicels on what stock you will sell. Anything from specialising in a particular field and becoming an expert to selling just about anything. At heart I am a waste-hater and I also love quirky, quality, items that bring memories back of time gone past. So many very useful items are destroyed every second of the day. Flippers want to make a profit, sure, but along side that they were reducing landfill long before it was a 'thing' and long before the Green Party existed! I set about upholstering an old hand-me-down armchair in my bedroom at 13. My Mum thought I was mad but nevertheless bought me some thin, cheap dress material and I took the cover off, cut a pattern and recovered it and I've knitted, sewn, stripped, painted and restored ever since. I've loved the thought my efforts sold and have been appreciated many times over and over. Now these old bones are protesting when I ignore them and carry on lifting furniture, so I am trying to evolve into clothing, but the love is just not there, but I'm working on it! For this reason I shall be posting anything useful that could be used again, not just vintage and antique, fits in with my ADHD type personality which loves jumping from one project to another! Diversity will be my stock choice from this time forward! Have a great day!
