Today, Matilda graduates from MMU with a First Class Honours degree in Interior Design, and team BIA couldn’t be prouder.

We’ve watched her grow from Intern to Junior Designer over the course of her time with us, taking on her first site visit, her first client sign-off, and countless small details she was determined to get exactly right. The talent was there from the start, but what’s stood out most is the work ethic behind it.

Congratulations, Matilda. This achievement is entirely your own, and we can’t wait to see what you build next.

You’ve been following along with the build and we promised we’d share more. Here’s your first look at the design for SCULPT HOUSE. Let’s take you on a tour…

Designed with community at the heart, every detail has been chosen to create a space that feels calm, connected and energetic. All at the same time.

Enter past the green cafe tables through Sculpts signature striped awning. You arrive into an airy entrance area with casual seating for pre and post class gathering. Use the self check in and grab a cold matcha whilst you shop the merch wall and relax amongst the warm wood floors, beams and simple but beautiful furniture.

A travertine opening takes you through to the community lounge, where wall to ceiling textured finishes immerse you in Sculpt House’s signature green. Lounge on the striped banquette seating or low wooden chairs and grab a custom built locker before heading into class.

Your class, whether teacher led or on demand, is set in a light filled reformer studio. Cool and air conditioned, the ceiling is framed by tight sail cloth flags, suspended so that when you lay beneath them you feel like you’re floating. The soft warm wooden flooring flows through seamlessly. Individual mirrors line the walls, one for every reformer and thoughtfully chosen to mirror the shape of this incredible building.

By night the vibe shifts and details designed to disappear by day take focus. A bespoke stainless steel DJ area is revealed and the sail cloth ceiling flags transport you somewhere else. All the vibes are bringing outdoor terrace canopy in Ibiza - a totally immersive class experience.

Freshen up after class in the playful and selfie worthy bathrooms. We love an unexpected bathroom and the ones at Sculpt House are no exception... shall we share those next?

Usually we’re behind the scenes shaping other brands. This time, we turned the lens on ourselves.

BIA HQ, designed the same way we approach every project. Plans pinned to the wall, polaroids from site, materials in hand.
Ideas tested, moved and then tested again. Trusting in gut reactions and the process.

This carousel is the anatomy of it all. The thinking, the palette, the atmosphere we built our own office around. Our inner city office in a gritty northern mill is almost complete.

Turns out designing for yourself is a little like therapy.. just with more samples on the table! We can’t wait to welcome you for in person presentations 🖤

This is what 19 seconds of studio life looks like.

Seven live projects.
Concepts evolving in real time.
Client presentations getting their final polish.
Samples everywhere. On desks, on floors, in our hands.

It moves fast. Ideas flying, decisions landing, details tightening by the minute.

This is the part no one sees. The edits. The swaps. The quiet focus before the big reveal.

And of course, we close the month the only way we know how. Cosmo Wednesday. Because great design deserves a proper sign off.
