Calling all lovers of antique and vintage textiles.

If beautiful old fabrics, lace, costume and sewing treasures are your thing, here’s a date for your diary.

Talent for Textiles will be holding a market at Broadhembury Memorial Hall, near Honiton, on Saturday 28th November.

With a fabulous array of antique and vintage textiles, costume, lace and plenty of project pieces, there should be lots to tempt collectors, makers and anyone who appreciates the charm of old fabrics.

There’s something fishy going on at Fountain Antiques…

Marilyn and Simon’s splendid wooden trout appears to have attracted the attention of a visitor from Paul’s room!

We’re not entirely sure what the Siamese cat has planned, but judging by that expression, we don’t think the trout should hang around to find out!

Jackie and Mike Cottage Collectables have been busy refreshing their pitch today, and it’s looking wonderful!

From beautiful wicker baskets and quirky dressmaker’s mannequins to rustic wooden boxes, vintage tools, decorative pieces and all sorts of unusual treasures, there’s plenty to catch the eye.

We particularly love the mix of textures, colours and country charm – and there’s always something different to discover.

Pop in and have a browse next time you’re passing. You never know what might catch your fancy!

A fresh look for Douggie’s pitch.

Following the sale of a large table, Douggie has been busy bringing in new stock and giving his pitch on the first floor of Fountain Antiques a refresh!

There’s a wonderful mix of antique and vintage furniture, ceramics, glassware and all sorts of interesting treasures to discover.

Why not pop upstairs and have a good rummage? You never know what might catch your eye!

Churchill’s Antiques & Collectables popped into the shop over the weekend to top up his very popular pitch with Poole Pottery.

He can be found on the first floor with his display of fabulous items in the most eyecatching colours.

Come on over and take a look while you can as they absolutely fly off the shelves!

They say never smile at a crocodile…

But, be honest, how could you resist with this amazing vintage wooden crocodile who has sauntered into Jackie & Mike’s area of the shop this morning?

Formerly a bench, this fabulous beastie would be brilliant peeking out from the undergrowth in a garden — although we’re not entirely sure we’d want to meet him unexpectedly after dark!

Pop into our Honiton shop and be taken in by his welcome grin….. 🐊

Everything you need to ease you into the autumn season in the garden — and then some! From fabulous old tools and gardenalia to plenty of other interesting finds, there’s lots to have a rummage through.
