Aerial sling night with Tone & Poise at Heckfield!

Definitely not the most graceful person in the room, but I had the best time and I’m really proud of what I managed to achieve.

This kind of playful, slightly chaotic movement is good for the soul (and apparently good for the creative brain too). Back to the knots tomorrow with a smile. 🌸

🌸 A little something special 🌸

I made this small macramé wall hanging (around 30cm) as a thank you gift for my mother-in-law.

It’s a simple, soft piece — just cotton cord, a few favourite knots, and a lot of love woven in. Perfect for adding a little texture and calm to a wall.

These little makes are some of my favourites. Heartfelt, personal, and made with intention. 🌿💛

Another little go at a poppy ahead of Remembrance Day. 🌺

This one’s based more on the actual flower than the usual paper poppy we buy — handmade with macrame petals and a simple felt leaf.

A small, textured reminder as we head into November.

🌸 Poppy pattern progress! 🌸

I’ve been quietly playing with macramé poppies… and wow, there really aren’t many patterns out there! So I’ve been trying to knot something that feels a little closer to a traditional poppy shape.

This is my latest attempt — still a work in progress (the centre is a bit wild and the shape needs more love), but I’m loving the process and determined to keep going. 🌿✨

What do you think so far? Too rustic? Getting there? Any tips from my fellow knotters? Drop a ❤️ or tell me your thoughts below — I really want to hear them!
