Yesterday we delivered this beautiful small 2 tier heart Lambeth cake to The rabbit hole , Durham. For Mr & Mrs heslop’s meal.

They opt for 8” lemon & 6” vanilla & raspberry jam . All white with deep red writing on the top & 2 little rubber ducks . Them ducks brought the fun element to this cake .

My anxiety when delivering a stacked cake is something else. I always travel with them separate and stack at the venue because I’m a what if girly. However sometimes it’s not an option so driving at the slowest speed I can go ( which really annoys most drivers ) whilst I’m screaming back off I have a wedding cake in transit is always fun 🤣🤣🫣

Anyhow made it there in one piece and it was absolutely beautiful

We’ve kept a little Secret!!!

Behind the science my son & his beautiful partner have been baking something a litter extra special for us to love 🥹🥹😭

these have got to be the most special cakes I’ve made to date and I spent the whole time crying whilst making them 🥹

The day dragged so much, the scan flew by and so did the reveal . It was such a special moment to share with them 🥰

It’s their 1st baby , 1st grand child on both sides so lots of excitement, tears , pure joy & love .

ITS A GIRL!!!!
This nanny is super excited to watch this little girl grow up and just embrace this brand new chapter for us all..

Not something i normally post as i do like to keep my page cake related but on this occasion I’m having a little rant.

I’ve just seen this post from my friend over at the gourmet grill and I’ve got to say it’s ruffled my feathers a little bit if I’m honest. As we know if you’ve ever been to the van , Terri-Ann has the biggest heart and won’t let anyone go without because it’s just who she is , but can we please normalise not asking or expecting small businesses for freebies , discounts or can I pay later. You can not go into a shop and do this so why as a small business is it kind of expected . Us small business owners have bills to pay , wages to pay , stock to buy same as a multi million pound company who wouldn’t miss a few pounds here n there but a small business can . I’m not sure why some people are under some illusion that if you own a business your rich . I wish that was the case but most are working around the clock , 7 days a week.

Something a little different but still beautiful 6” tall lemon , Semi naked bright pink with cream hearts& writing .
