It’s been great to get back into the garage workshop recently and complete a couple of projects I’ve been working on. Turned these gorgeous reclaimed floor boards into two freestanding ladder display units which I must confess I absolutely love 😍
Now making myself a few planters out of my leftover wood ready to change the garden around for winter, & using up the nearly empty pots of wood stain ready for a big re-stock 😊
Hoping to make a start on some Xmas ideas later this week 🎅🏻

I didn’t ever expect to get emergency orders at Made at Magdale, so when I got one this week I jumped into action! George is a young rescue hedgehog and is unfortunately blind so needs a permanent safe place to live. He couldn’t come home to his rescue family until he had a home to live in so I turned this around in a day for him 🥰
He will now live in a garden and have a secure little home to sleep in. He can come and go through the door and on days when he wants to stay inside the lid comes off and he’ll be safe from anything trying to get in. Photos of George to follow 🦔

That’s a big stack of planters! 6 in fact, ready to go to their new home and ready for planting up. Phew! 🙂

Kim sent me this picture over the weekend. She ordered the planter as a gift for her mum who’d seen my collection of planters when she’d passed us and had commented on how much she liked them. She’s delighted with her little planter, which looks lovely and colourful 💐

The little bird box is now surrounded by blossom and we’re fairly sure the residents are sitting on eggs 🤗
