Special Workshops for Holmfirth Art Week

I’m delighted to let you know that once again this year my little garden studio and garden will be a venue for Holmfirth Art Week which is from Sunday 5th to Saturday 11th July.
I will be joined again by Annie Taylor, certified Zentangle teacher, for some fabulous fun and creativity! Our theme for this year is “Four Seasons”.
All workshops (including Annie’s), are bookable through my website www.madebymarion.net and are all suitable for complete beginners and those with some experience. Here’s what’s on offer:

A comprehensive guide to drawing Zentangle where you’ll learn how to add depth, shade, sparkle and drama to a lovely Zentangle tile.

Watercolour Tangles - Autumn Shades

Using the beautiful colours of Autumn, this workshop will combine steampunk themes with Zentangle patterns for a truly original combination.

Based on Annie’s cute as cute ZenBirds, a great watercolour concept on its own, this workshop provides fun tangling, lots of colour and whimsical ideas for Christmas cards.

You’ll create a panel using lots of different glass elements. Once fused your panel will be mounted onto a large glass vase. Makes a perfect gift but I bet you won't want to part with it!

Make a fused glass panel that once fused will be mounted into the top of a beautiful bamboo keepsake box. I made these for presents and they were so popular I've decided to run a workshop! They make a wonderful gift…but you probably wont want to part with it!

Watercolour Tangles. Shades of summer and seaside.

The workshop pulls inspiration from tangles that are based on organic, natural shapes, such as spirals, waves and shells. Add some warm sunny colours or choose seaside blues.
Each piece of Zentangle art can be taken home in a frame.
You can also call in anytime during the week 10am - 7pm there will be drop-in fused glass and Zentangle activities available and lots to see!!
