🎨🏆 A big round of applause for our summer holiday art competition winners!

Congratulations to Amaal, Bruno and Layla, who each completed all five colouring sheets beautifully! We’ve now presented all three with their very own personalised art sets, ready for their next masterpieces. 🖍️✨

A huge thank you to Tommy Smash Crafts for providing the vinyl to help us personalise their prizes! 💙

Our annual colouring competition is completely free to enter, with a new sheet available each week of the summer holidays. We love seeing the creativity that comes through our doors and our local landmarks brought to life in so many colours!

Thank you to everyone who took part and well done to our three brilliant winners! 👏

🌸 HUDDERSFIELD — WHO DESERVES A LITTLE PICK-ME-UP? 🌸

We’ve got an abundance of beautiful flowers, but this rainy weather means we’ve had to bring them indoors and we’re missing those lovely impulse buys from people passing the shop!

So, let’s turn a rainy week into something lovely with another Huddersfield Hero giveaway! 💐

Know someone who deserves a free bunch of flowers? Perhaps they’ve had a difficult time, always put others first, or simply deserve to know they’re appreciated.

To nominate someone:
🌷 Tag them in the comments and tell us why they deserve a treat.
🌷 Share this post to your profile.
🌷 Get your nomination in by 12 noon tomorrow, Friday 16th October.

We’ll choose someone to surprise with a free bunch of flowers. ❤️

And because choosing just one person is always so difficult, we’re offering 20% off fresh flowers this Friday and Saturday to anyone buying a bunch for a nominee who doesn’t receive the giveaway flowers. Just mention their nomination when you pop in!

The nominations on these posts always remind us how many wonderful people we have around us. We wish we could give flowers to every single one — but together, perhaps we can brighten a few more people’s days. 🌸

Flowers for Teresa 🌸

It was an honour to create these very special funeral flowers for Teresa.
We were told that Teresa particularly loved roses and carnations, so we made sure both featured abundantly throughout her flowers, surrounded by a beautiful mixture of soft cottage-garden blooms in pinks, lilacs, peaches and whites.
Alongside the beautiful 4ft casket topper, we created personalised Mum and Grandma tributes, all designed in our signature cottage garden style so that everything complemented one another.

Teresa’s flowers didn’t end their journey at the service. Afterwards, we discreetly collected the casket topper from the crematorium and brought it back to our shop. We carefully took it apart and used Teresa’s flowers to create 28 individual mini posies for her loved ones to take home.
From collecting the arrangement to remaking all 28 posies and delivering them to the wake, we managed it in just one hour and ten minutes. ❤️
It meant that flowers chosen especially for Teresa could live on beyond the service, with 28 of her friends and family each taking a little piece of the tribute home with them.
Our heartfelt condolences go to Rosie and all of Teresa’s family. It was an absolute pleasure to work with you and a privilege to be trusted with something so important at such a sad time.
