Hello! I’m very Yorkshire and enjoy the simple pleasures in life. I was raised in a shovel factory and now I’m obsessed with machines and making things. Joy is my middle name which people seem to think is wonderful, and somewhere along the line friends nicknamed me Joy Machine, which I kinda love to be honest ;)

I’ll make owt from owt really, but wood is my favourite material to work with, besides Lego obviously :D

So enjoy my works/works in progress! I’m fairly adrift from technology, but I also put stuff on Instagram and my website www.thejoymachine.co.uk if you fancy a gander. I tried to do Twitter but it’s beyond me, that!
