Sometimes you find things that are so special, you don’t want to let them go. This beautiful tapestry was lovingly created in 1856 - an embroidered sampler - and its maker? A little girl, Emily Ball, at only 10 years old 🥹. It’s in the most lovely condition, with the coloured threads retaining their vibrancy. What makes it extra special is it’s in its original rosewood frame from 1856. Absolutely stunning and how dexterous was Emily!

The Blue Room 💙- a new look for an old friend.

We’ve kept the classic Brer Rabbit wallpaper in Indigo (still a favourite) but paired it with a beautiful new paint — ‘Tump’ by William Morris. A warm, earthy green- not too sharp and not too dark - one of those colours that seems to work with just about everything 💚. It’s from a small collection of just 40 colours specially chosen to complement their collection of wallpapers and fabrics, or as standalone colours.

There was a time when everything went very dark and inky, which we still love but sometimes a subtle shift is all it takes to bring a room back to life.

We have the whole collection of William Morris paints and you can choose your favourite wallpapers and fabrics from the books in our interiors showroom. Brer Rabbit is also available in a few other colourways.

We really hope you like it and look forward to seeing you soon at Cobweb 🕸️.
