It’s all in the details 🖤✨

The Lino Cut has worked a treat on this Black Ash job, cutting the main flooring back neatly to meet the border. A handy tool for getting those clean, precise cuts that make the finished detail stand out 👌

The Black Ash border frames the floor beautifully, while the gold feature strips add contrast and a touch of luxury. Against those dark tones, the gold really catches the eye 🔥

Careful setting out, accurate cutting and time spent on the finishing touches — it all comes together in the final result.

A quality floor starts with what’s underneath 👌

Level IT Two High Flow helps create a smooth, even base ready for the flooring to go down. Its excellent flow makes it a great product to work with—but the correct preparation is what gets the best results.

Checking moisture levels, making sure the subfloor is sound, removing contamination and using the correct primer where required all play a part. Getting these stages right helps the products perform as they should and gives your LVT the foundation it needs.

The prep might be hidden once the job’s finished, but it shows in the quality look of the floor. 💪

New colour, classic pattern 👌🔥

Introducing Roasted Oak from Symphony’s new colour range, fitted in herringbone on this job. A lovely warm oak tone that brings character to the space.

A great finish starts with the preparation. We used 9mm plywood, along with Mapei Renovation screed over the concrete and to build up the deeper areas where the floorboards dropped away, creating an even base ready for fitting.

The finishing touches included Ali Wrap nosings from Stairrods UK Ltd and thick coir matting at the entrance—a practical addition to help catch dirt as you come in.

We worked alongside The Flooring Outlet on this one, and we’re really pleased with the finished result 🙌
