Happy Saturday
Today is one of my absolute favourite events in my local town Huntly Hairst unfortunately I can’t be there this year with my makes , I can’t even visit due to a low immune system just now.. so feeling a little sad 😔

Hello Friday
I’ve a long day ahead of my with a equally long appointment this afternoon so I’m going to chill out this morning and finish off a scarf 🧣 I’ll take some crochet with me although I’ve yet to do much when I’m there.
Today though I thought I’d reshare this bag and shawl together. You know about the shawl but the bag is gorgeous too.
The outer is made of a wool fabric that is from Johnston of Elgin up cycled range. Last time I went sadly there was hardly any decent fabrics but it was a while ago. It’s a completely one off tote and I can promise there won’t be another like it.

Happy Thursday
This week is turning out to be a bit busy with early morning appointments which means by the time I’m home I’m pretty worn out, I’ve just been crocheting away in my own sweet world.
Feeling very seasonal this morning so I thought let’s pop a couple of pieces together ..I finished another autumn leaves scarf yesterday and I think it goes perfectly with my Cacoon Cardigan.

Hello September
A new month which I’ve no idea what it will hold.
Yesterday I took advantage of some nice weather, well in the morning! coffee & cake, a walk on the beach and a pop by The Portsoy Gift Box where the new autumnal windows are taking shape and look amazing.
Once home I finished off yet another scarf which is added to my shop page.
Today is a rest day so I’ve already got s autumn leaves scarf on the hook, I’m hoping a yarn delivery will arrive soon so I can finish a shawl I started too.

Happy Monday
It’s a busy week ahead with lots going on but in between running about I’ll be crocheting up scarves, I did add a peacock feathers one to the website yesterday so pop on over if you’d after one.
Meanwhile look what’s off the loom .. ‘Autumn Days’ 🍂
I absolutely loved weaving this one up, I forgot how much I enjoyed putting these weaves together to create a fabric.
Inspired by the changes in the season this scarf has been designed and hand woven by myself.
This scarf is now on my website I just can’t add a link anymore.

Happy Saturday
So here it is the a weave in progress.
It’s been a while since I created a more detailed weave as they do take a bit longer and lots of patience too not make mistakes.
I love these autumnal colours as you may know it’s my favourite season due to the richness of the colours around.
I’ll try and work on this a bit today as well as a bit of crochet .. yep another scarf on the hook.
