We were delighted to welcome Julie Richardson with her demonstration "Thursday night at the Movies".
We had "My Fair Lady", "Love Actually ", "Pirates of the Caribbean ", " Wicked"and "Barbie". Invited to guess as the first props were assembled, most of us knew which films were going to be depicted.
Julie is obviously a huge fan of the show "Wicked" as she has seen it 4 times. The next time it's in our area we were encouraged to see it.
Thank you Julie for a very entertaining evening, we all really enjoyed ourselves.

Last evening we held our AGM, after the business was swiftly dealt with it was on to our speaker Alison Hulme.
A very talented textile artist Alison brought some examples of her brilliant work. Accompanied by a sometimes poignant account of her life to date, it was always a positive uplifting story.
We so enjoyed the visit from Alison and thank her for coming along.

It's our AGM next Thursday usual venue 7.00 for 7.30pm. Last year we concluded the business in 20 minutes , we aim to beat that time this year !!
Once the official stuff is completed we have a speaker. Alison Hulme with "My life in stitches". We've not met Alison but have had very good information about her talk.
At this meeting you can rejoin so please bring some cash or we can give you our bank details for a BACS transfer.
We look forward to seeing everyone and giving you the programme for the coming year.

Last evening March 12th we welcomed the inimitable Carole Norman.

We had a fun time hearing about Carole's life from when she was a young woman to the present day. All of this while delivering a demonstration!!

Starting with an arrangement of spring flowers we went through the season to summer ending with a depiction of ice creams. A mouth watering prospect.

Thank you Carole for a wonderful and entertaining evening, we all enjoyed it immensely.

REMINDER. For this month only March 12th we will meet at Hythe Community Centre in Brinton Lane SO45 6DU.

Usual time, 7.00 for 7.30pm when we welcome Carole Norman with her demonstration " It's Nearly Spring ". Always very entertaining I'm sure we will have a fun evening.

Back to Hythe and Dibden Parish Hall next month for our AGM (won't take long!!) followed by a talk by Gill Pelton entitled "Turbans to Tulips".
