Delighted that Sponge Tree are joining The Ilkley Market Great Get Together event on Saturday.
The fun folks at Sponge Tree will be holding a summer sun weaving workshop from 12 noon to 3pm for little kids and grown up kids too. All free.
Come and weave radiant Solstice Sunshines! Let's chase away the grey and create something amazing.

We’re joining communities across the UK in celebrating connection, kindness and community spirit - and we’d love you to be part of it!

Join us on Saturday 20th June, 12–3pm at The Ilkley Market for a relaxed afternoon with refreshments, kids’ activities, music on the bandstand and a warm welcome for everyone.

No need to book, no need to RSVP - just turn up, bring the family, meet someone new and enjoy a bit of Ilkley community spirit.

You’ll find us by Buzz Coffee’s iconic yellow van on The Grove ☕💛

We can’t always guarantee the weather…

But one thing we do know is that come rain or shine, Rachel from Buzz Coffee will always be there brightening up the market, directly from her iconic yellow coffee car! ☕

Rachel is an Ilkley regular and a big part of the market, serving great coffee, friendly chats and always bringing a bit of sunshine, even when the weather definitely doesn’t.

She’s over at Real Markets in Saltaire today, so if you’re around Roberts Park, make sure you go and say hello and grab a coffee from Buzz Coffee.

Michael from Marina Quay Fisheries has travelled over from Fleetwood with a lovely selection of fresh fish.

It’s always nice to have proper traders at the market who know their products and are happy to chat, offer advice and help you choose what to take home.

It’s been a slightly breezy one on The Grove today… and by slightly breezy, we mean “hold onto the gazebo before it ends up halfway down The Grove” type of breezy 😅

Wind gusts over 30mph definitely kept all of us our toes today, but we're still here and still doing our best to keep everything from taking off!!!

It looks like its another windy day tomorrow, but most of the usual Saturday traders will be back, smiling and serving as per usual! 🙂

We had a few unexpected guests at The Ilkley Market today… 🦆😂

Not sure if they came for coffee, empanadas, flowers or just a wander down The Grove, but they were very welcome either way.
