When I’m needle felting, I always end up with leftover snippets of wool — too small to use in my designs, but far too beautiful (and natural) to waste.
So instead of throwing them away, I’ve started placing them in a bird feeder for nesting birds 💛
Because this wool is natural and biodegradable, it’s perfect for birds to use when building their nests — soft, warm, and completely safe for the environment. It’s such a simple way to give those little leftovers a second life 🌿
Sustainability is something that sits at the heart of what I do. The same high-quality merino wool I use for my needle felted cot mobiles is carefully chosen not just for its softness and durability, but because it’s a natural, renewable fibre.
So whether it’s creating something special for your little one, or supporting the wildlife just outside your window, every piece of wool has a purpose ♻️✨
