Stracathro Makers Markets

20/02/2026

Sad to say but, due to feedback from the majority of our regular vendors over the uncertainty of the future of the hall, there will not be any makers markets in Stracathro this year.
Thank you to everyone who who has supported us in the past.
Maybe we will return in the future

So many tried desperately to save her life but at just 3 years old she was taken by her owner and euthanised.

Her “crime” was having a scrap with a fellow dog.

A beautiful young black German Shepherd who should never have been in a position that doesn’t allow more time for options to be found.

Had she been abandoned and ended up in a pound she would have got 7 days for a rescue to be located. Had she ended up in a pound her death would have been recorded.

She was however taken into a vet practice where there is no requirement to record her death or why she so tragically lost her life.

That needs to change for all the invisible dogs and cats who are dying without anyone noticing.

When no one asks questions problems continue.

We are continuing to ask questions and we need your help by signing and sharing the petition on euthanasia below. We need 10k signatures 👇

We don’t know her name but she will always be remembered by us 🌈
