Hello 🤍

I've really been awful at posting lately, but I'm still here flowering away.

This is a super busy wee time with weddings and farewell flowers. This is impacting shop hours over the next few days, please see the altered opening hours below.

If you're looking for flowers this week, there are lots of lush ones available. And ready to goes will be ready from tomorrow. 🌸✨️

Opening Hours

Thurs 28th - Open as normal, bar wedding delivery between 10.30 and 11.
Fri 29th - Shop doors will be closed all day for wedding work, but please just knock if you need anything.
Sat 30th - Open as normal (9am til Midday)
Mon 1st - Deliveries available, shop closed.
Tues 2nd - Deliveries available, shop closed.

🌷🌼🌸 FINAL CALL FOR FLOWERS 🌸🌼🌷

Tomorrow is your last chance for flowers until Tuesday 5th May as I'm taking a wee break.

There are LOTS of ready to goes available ranging from £20 - £35, as well as some beaut wee £10 wraps of Hyacinths.

Open 10am as normal, but closed for half an hour at 10.30 for a consultation.

Ashley & Kevin 🤍🌿

A gorgeous July wedding for this lovely couple who travelled all the way from the States for their wedding at Neidpath Castle.

Ashley opted for the classical White and Green combo, full of Roses, Spray Roses, Eryngium, Lisianthus, Astrantia and Eucalyptus. These complimented Ashley's strapless a-line dress just perfectly, as well as the gorgeous black bridesmaids gowns.

I'm so lucky to meet people from all over the world through flowers, and I'm so grateful to Ashley and Kevin for choosing me to play a small part in their special day. 🤍✨️

🤍 Michelle and Graham 🤍

What a day. What a couple. What a venue!

It's always so lovely to be asked by someone you know to do their wedding florals, and what an honour it was to design them all for Michelle, and her love Graham.

Michelle opted for Whites, with a pop of Blue & a wee touch of Blush Pink. These were designed in a classic structured handheld style for the bouquets but with a little movement and texture.
In the ceremony room I added wee pewends to the chairs as well as the long & low for the signing table.
On to the stunning sea front reception room - Michelle supplied the Candlebra, aren't they beaut? Foliage and majority of florals were added at the shop, (FYI - don't recommend going over the Granites with 11 Candelabra in your car!), with Roses added alongside any other infill on site!

This was an absolute dream set up for me. To see the day all come together so perfectly after Michelle (& Graham) had planned it so meticulously, was just amazing to see. And a bucket list venue ticked off for me too! 🤍✨️

July 2025 was a busy wee month for weddings here at The Flower Bee. Next up, we have Nikki & Sean's special day, that was bursting with colour! 🧡

What a day!!! Their set up at the stunning Lewinshope was just perfection - Nikki definitely has an eye for styling!
I had the joy of designing all bridal party florals, ceremony displays, and decor for within the teepees.
Special mention to the hexagon moongate which was a late addition to the decor and constructed just a few days before the wedding by Sean's dad.

Nikki's brief was wildy, & lots of colour. Her own Bouquet was designed using Dahlia's (a nod to someone very special!), alongside her, Sean, and (their gorgeous see girl) Ruby's birthflower, plus an extra wee pop from the Bridesmaids bouquets.
Beyond beaut day, and so grateful to have played a small part in it. 🌸🧡✨️
