When a kitchen needs to cater for up to 60 guests, the details really matter. Created for a 17th-century stately home, this traditional kitchen pairs Mylands' 'Cooking Apple Green' and 'Serpentine' with a traditional cornice, wide-plank oak worktops, and antique brass crackle handles and k***s.

Display cabinets give cherished keepsakes a designated place, while generous storage keeps cookware and serving dishes organised. Behind the cabinets, hidden tunnels once connected the main hall to the East Wing before it was demolished in the early 1900s. Repurposed by the client, they now create an opening for large deliveries, bringing an unexpected part of the property's history into daily use.

The kind of entrance that sets the tone before anyone has stepped inside, with rich wood, curved details, classic hardware, and the close-ups that deserve a second look. From the door handle to the panelling, every detail feels like it has a story, the sort of craftsmanship that quietly makes the first step inside feel special.

The kind of hallway that makes coming home feel a little more special, with rich wood, hidden storage, and a beautiful worktop ready for keys, post, and all the little things that usually get dropped the second the door opens.

Not every project starts in the workshop. This one started in a Norfolk field, after a farmer got in touch when high winds brought down an oak estimated to be around 250 to 300 years old.

After an initial survey to measure the logs, check the quality of the timber, and agree on a purchase price, the 7 ft Alaskan mill came out, and the tree was milled on site before making its way back to HQ. Some of the slabs will be kiln-dried for furniture and future projects, while some of the green oak, still wet and full of life, will be used for timber framing.

Even the scabs, the unusable outer parts of the tree, will be dried and stored for firewood, because timber like this deserves as little waste as possible.

There is something special about taking a tree that stood for hundreds of years and turning it into joinery designed to last hundreds more. From forest to finish, with a lot of sawdust in between.

This 75-inch TV is concealed within a central island on a remote-controlled motorised stand, making it part of the room when wanted and easy to put away when it's not. One side uses four doors and four drawers, while the other has deep, solid oak, soft-close dovetail drawers with solid oak fronts, mouldings, and frames. Oak veneer panelling with solid oak bolection panel mouldings and crown moulding brings warmth throughout the room, all designed, crafted, and French polished in-house to match the rest of the suite.

A new addition to a 250+ year-old thatched property needs to feel like it has always belonged. The sunroom and porch bring together a post-and-beam structure with European oak top-hung flush casements and European oak French doors, creating a comfortable space that connects naturally with the space outside. Toughened double glazing throughout keeps the space practical for daily use, while every detail was designed, crafted, finished, and fitted in-house.
