When a kitchen needs to cater for up to 60 guests, the details really matter. Created for a 17th-century stately home, this traditional kitchen pairs Mylands' 'Cooking Apple Green' and 'Serpentine' with a traditional cornice, wide-plank oak worktops, and antique brass crackle handles and k***s.
Display cabinets give cherished keepsakes a designated place, while generous storage keeps cookware and serving dishes organised. Behind the cabinets, hidden tunnels once connected the main hall to the East Wing before it was demolished in the early 1900s. Repurposed by the client, they now create an opening for large deliveries, bringing an unexpected part of the property's history into daily use.
