All of my stock is now half price throughout my shop after making the decision to put everything on hold with the business for the time being.

I have always been a sign writer and since the end of the pandemic the sign writing business has gone crazy! Expanding year on year to a point that I don’t have enough time to focus on two businesses.

My artwork will always be an option for me and maybe in a quieter period of my life I will be able to focus on it again but for now I need to make the smart decision for my family and myself.

ANNOUNCEMENT and 50% off everything!!!!…….

Hi all 👋🏻. It’s been nearly two years since I last posted which is essentially how Instagram would run on 90’s dial up internet. But it’s for a good reason which is that I have decided to ‘mothball’ (I’ve never had a moth based issue!) the Artwork side of my life and here’s why…….

When I started producing my artwork a few years ago it was running parallel with my alter ego . I’ve been sign writing for a number of years now and they worked well together - the sign writing would help pay for stock and the artwork supplemented my income to make the whole thing work. Just before the pandemic hit the sign writing was really taking off big style and after all the stop start it has grown massively to a point where it takes up all of my time. Dare I say it…..I’m an artist with a full time job!!

So it has forced me to make a decision that isn’t tinged with sadness because I have everything waiting in the wings (I can’t thank my wife enough for setting everything up!!) should I decide to restart the commercial side of things. I will no longer be releasing new products and if I do produce pieces then they will be one of a kinds and made available on the socials - hopefully more frequent than every two years! But unfortunately I cannot split my time like I used to as there is no time left to split!

So to get the ball rolling I have discounted EVERYTHING on my website www.scottcolton.co.uk by 50%. I know, madness right? I still use Royal Mail which, as you can imagine, currently has it’s pitfalls but they have been a great service for me. Obviously I can’t guarantee Christmas delivery but I’ll make sure things go ASAP from me.

I currently have stock left of a number of items and I will try to keep these as updated as possible on the website.

Finally, I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported me and helped me make this little venture what it is. I met some amazing people along the way who have so much talent and all need that support so please buy direct from artists and as local as possible where you can.

I’m sure I’ll see you all again very soon.
