And we are off with ‘The Path’

An art pop-up at the wonderful Seas the Day space in Cromer.

Here until Sunday the 24th of May with:

Paintings and photography by yours truly.
Paintings, cyanotype, monotype and handmade sketchbooks and brushes by .art.
Textile sculpture and cards by .art.textiles.
Bronze sculptures and silver jewellery by .

Come by and say hello if you are around. Always happy to have a natter about art or anything really, and until some flowers grace the table, we can tell you the future as well 😂😂

Preparing work for the upcoming pop-up and going full abstract in 10x8” | 5x7” | 3x5”

Smaller but still mighty.

Above are the three 10x8” - Echoes of G, Chromatic Tempest and Sundae - framed in 15x25mm ‘Bare Wood’ Ayous moulding painted to match and complete the mood of the piece.

MINI AND UNFRAMED

I have added a few of new and not so new works to the website, and these are original paintings that won’t hurt your wallet!

Art is important, without art our soul and sensitivity decreases and everyone should be able to surround themselves with some.

All of these are unframed original acrylics - 4x4” - so you can frame or display as you wish (do not recommend using them as mug coasters though even though the size is perfect).

The boost of creativity today was incredible!

Winter in Trimingham is finished.

Quite a wonderful story behind this.

We have decided to spent Christmas 2025 in North Norfolk but with all the rough seas, blistering winds, wild waves and angry skies we were spending most of the time in a chalet, which resulted in an idea to paint the memory of that week as it was unfolding.

We didn’t take any painting materials or canvases with us, so when we went to see Antonia in Holt, Andrea was there too and kindly sorted us out with the amazing framed panels!

So, now over a month later, I got there in the end.

15x15cm acrylic on wooden panel in white deep frame.

Quite nice to reminisce on that week today, with the grey and miserable weather outside. It might have been cold and windy back then but boy, it made me feel alive!

What a wonderful opening evening of the Cosmic Thread project to commemorate 80th anniversary of led by exceptional !

It was so lovely to bump into that has welcomed us to her table during the excellent textile workshop with Anne in June last year, and amazingly her square was next to Dave's!

Really proud to be a part of this project.

Abstract forever and once again huge thank you to Anne for creating this project and being such a wonderful and patient tutor.

The exhibition is open to public until 27th of March 2026 and is well worth a visit to see all 10 community quilts and Anne's masterpiece 😍
