🏡 5 tips to make your house a home 🏡

Hit the save flag if you want to refer back later.

👩‍🎨 Originality - Don’t follow the crowd. Try to follow your gut instinct and go with what you love
🎨 Colour palette - Pick out 3 or 4 main colours to use throughout your home. Although ours is full of colour my main go to’s are pink, blue, yellow and green
🖼️ Artwork, original or prints, it can make such a difference to a space
🏺 Personality - Your home should be an extension of you, so if you are passionate about vintage ceramics for example, have them in your home
🛋️ Soft furnishings - Sofas, chairs, curtains or blinds, it can all make or break a space so choose wisely. Do they have longevity?

Amongst work here’s what we’ve been up to… Fathers Day at Lowther Castle & Gardens a week of salads & getting back into the programme with Rebecca Asprey | Online Nutrition & Fitness Coach watching Dirty dancing Adventure Cinema at work & a fab night away in Haworth home of the Bronté Sisters with fab friends 🥂

I have loved for longer than I have lived in this house. She’s been such an inspiration to me and I love the fact she now does a podcast with my talented friend Tristan ☺️

I first discovered about 15 years ago when I first got into upcycling. I’ve always loved a bargain and finding the perfect “treasure” to turn into something special so this audio of Annie really resonated with me. Most of our furniture is second hand and I’ve upcycled it. What’s your favourite thing you’ve rescued or if you haven’t yet are you keen to give it a go? There’s something so satisfying about having something that’s totally unique 🎨🖌️

One of my favourite places in the World. Salcombe you have my heart 💙 Beautiful beaches, Turquoise sea, the South-West coastal path, national trust garden Overbecks, plenty of safe beaches to choose from & the happiest of vibes. These are the reasons we keep coming back to Salcombe every year 🌊🏖️⛵️🐚🌺
